Philippine Delegation Explores Academic Partnerships at Marmara Career Expo in Istanbul, Turkey
Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa, alongside Dr. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and other State University and Colleges (SUCs) presidents, participated in a Career Expo today in Marmara, Turkey. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Rector Mehmet Saribiyik of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
The occasion marked the commencement of the second phase of the CHED-Funded Project, "Development of Academic and Exchange Programs among Universities in the Philippines and Turkey." The focus is on forging collaborations with seven additional Turkish Universities. Dr. Roa and Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangan, Director for International Affairs and Linkages, represented the Philippines in exploring potential partnerships and fostering academic ties between the two nations.
The event serves as a significant step in enhancing educational cooperation and fostering global connections between universities in the Philippines and Turkey.
