Faculty Researchers from MSUN to Speak at International Workshop in Japan

Dr. Nonillon M. Aspe and Ms. Vergitt B. Magtoltol, esteemed faculty researchers from MSUN, are actively contributing as resource speakers at a prestigious workshop seminar centered on the "Development of advanced mountain science research and education to establish a vast genetic diversity database."

This workshop, hosted by the Institute of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, is unfolding from March 5 to 11, 2024, at the Sugadaira Research Station, Mountain Science Center in Sugadairakogen, Nagano.

This international gathering is dedicated to addressing various issues spanning population genetics, phylogeny, systematics, environmental DNA, and ecosystem conservation and management in mountainous and forested regions. It fosters future progress in mountain science through interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
